Embroidery Training Gallery

Embroidery is one of Afghanistan’s most recognized traditional crafts, used in clothing and household textiles across many regions—including Bamiyan, Herat, Kandahar, Badakhshan, and beyond. Patterns and styles often reflect local beliefs, identity, and aesthetics.

JVTC offers a structured six-month embroidery program for women, covering core stitches, pattern transfer, finishing, and applied product work. Training supports both preservation of traditional styles and practical income generation through marketable textile products.
